Education in the Round: Diabetes in Your Practice: What You Find May Surprise You
  • Approximately 13 of people with diabetes are unaware that they have the disease. This makes a retinal examination, and specifically peripheral retinal examination, of paramount importance. Once we help patients to know they have diabetes, we can help them to manage it. ODs play an integral role in helping patients with diabetes, and this course will explore ways that can help, both from a systemic and ocular perspective.
