Concussion/Traumatic Brain Injury Panel

Abstract: Traumatic brain injury (PCS) can lead to post-concussive syndrome (PCS). Optometry can play a role in the assessment and treatment of patients with PCS. Several visual conditions can result from PCS including difficulties with accommodation, convergence, eye movements, and visual perceptual and cognitive delays. This panel will discuss optometry’s role in helping improve outcomes with this population.
