Normal Tension Glaucoma - What is it and why do I treat it differently?
2015 Optometry's Meeting Course Recording - Normal Tension Glaucoma (NTG) is condsidered a Primary Open Angle Glaucoma, but why? New evidence explains the links and why NTG is identical to POAG; and its all about the laminar cribrosa. We will review recent findings on the risk factors for NTG and its progression, and what clinical trials have informed us about the clinical management of NTG. Cases will be used to illustrate the relevant clinical issues and risk factors.
