A summary of key research findings by Donald Korb that led to vast future research will be summarized from cornea verticilatta to GPC, keratoconic contact lens fit and Meibomian gland dysfunction and a summary of my work, much of it inspired by Dr. Korb, will be reviewed. Other research to be reviewed includes keratoconus-related corneal scarring, corneal staining, corneal changes associated with orthokeratology and recent findings related to ocular surface lipid layer thickness.
